From review and advice through to exchange and settlement, we keep the process clear and moving.
We’ll explain professional fees, likely disbursements and next steps before you decide to proceed.
Our clients value clear communication, practical advice and knowing what happens next — especially when timing matters.
Here are some questions clients often ask before sending us a contract for review. If you have others, we’re happy to help.
We aim to review contracts within 24 hours after you upload the contract and key details. If your matter is urgent, let us know when you submit the form.
Yes. Our initial 24-hour contract review is free. It gives you preliminary comments on key risks, special conditions and recommended next steps before you decide whether to proceed.
We review the contract, identify key issues and contact you with initial comments and next steps. If you want us to act for you on the purchase, we’ll confirm the scope, pricing and engagement terms.
Our professional fees for standard residential purchase conveyancing start from $2,000 + GST. Fees vary depending on the purchase price and transaction type. Searches, certificates and third-party disbursements are additional.
In NSW, most residential property buyers have a cooling-off period after exchange, unless it has been waived or does not apply. It gives you a short period to reconsider, but there can be costs if you withdraw.
A 66W certificate is a certificate signed by a solicitor or conveyancer that waives your cooling-off rights. You should get legal advice before signing one, because once contracts are exchanged, you are generally committed to the purchase.
Yes. If you buy at auction, there is usually no cooling-off period. You should have the contract reviewed before bidding so you understand the risks and terms before you commit.
A 10% deposit is common, but buyers sometimes negotiate a reduced deposit, such as 5%. The contract will set out the deposit requirements, and we can advise you before exchange.
